The officers of the Nasimi District Police Department (RPI), as well as local police departments and units, conducted further operations in the areas known as “Papanin” and “Kubinka”, and 8 more people were detained.

It was reported that during the event, 6 more people who carried out the illegal circulation and sale of drugs were detained – Murad Bakhshiyev, Murad Ismayilov, Soltan Nuriyev, Orkhan Nuriyev, Aydin Allahverdiyev, Rashid Nuriyev, Parvin Ismayilov and Nizami Mursalov.
About 2 kilograms of heroin, methamphetamine and banned psychotropic pills were found from those persons. Several of the detainees said that they obtained the drugs from an Iranian citizen named “Seyyad” whom they met on social networks, with the aim of selling them online.
As a result of the operation, it was also determined that some of the arrested persons were engaged in promoting drugs among young people and teenagers.
The collected materials related to the facts were sent to the Investigation Department of Nasimi RPI.
According to the decision of the court, pre-trial detention was chosen for each of these persons, and operational-investigative measures are being continued.
