The Union Ministers themselves went directly to the border areas as part of the Operation Mission to expedite the Operation Mission and to address the concerns of the students. Meanwhile, Naveen, an Indian student from Karnataka, who was queuing to buy goods, was killed in a shelling.

Private planes were initially set up to transport students from across the border to India as part of Operation Mission. Then came the Air Force planes.
