The 7th Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition kicks off on Monday at the Qatar Ministry of Defense. The exhibition, hosted by the Qatar Armed Forces, will run until Wednesday. The exhibition, which opens at the Qatar National Convention Center, will feature 20 countries, including India. Under the motto ‘Connecting the world’s maritime defense and security communities’, various countries’ military, security and defense systems are lined up on Qatar soil. Thirteen Dimdex warships are anchored in the Hamad International Port. The Indian Navy’s anti-missile warship INS Kolkata anchored in the port on Sunday followingnoon. All the proud warships of the navies of various countries including Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia have arrived at Doha port.
Held from the 21st to the 23rd, the Dimdex exhibition will showcase the latest innovations in the maritime and naval areas, equipment, technologies, security plans, cyber security systems and technologies for overcoming security challenges.
