OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said he did not want to enter into a feud with Elon Muskbut he wants people to know that the billionaire is completely wrong regarding the claims he made regarding… artificial intelligence company As quoted by CNBC.

Altman made the remarks at an event in Delhi, India, when asked regarding Musk’s claim that OpenAI isn’t really a non-profit organization, due to the billions Microsoft has invested in the company, according to Insider.

Altman responded, “I don’t really want to get into a feud with Musk. I love the guy.” “I think he’s very wrong regarding these things. He can say whatever he wants, but I’m proud of what we’re doing and I think we’ll make a positive contribution to the world.”

Altman and Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015, but Musk stepped down from the board of directors in 2018. At the time, the startup tied Musk’s departure to Tesla’s work building automated driving systems.

But Musk has criticized OpenAI several times since leaving the company, saying it deviated from its original open source intentions and saying he may sue the company.

Musk has repeatedly warned regarding the dangers of advanced artificial intelligence, saying it might threaten humanity. In March, he joined a group of other tech giants in signing an open letter calling for a 6-month moratorium on training systems more advanced than OpenAI’s GPT-4 proprietary.
