Notably, “Doctor Slump” marks Park Shin Hye’s first acting role in three years. When asked how she felt regarding returning to acting, she said, The actress who played the role replied: “Every time I start a new project, I always feel a little nervous. And this time I still feel the same.”

As for what attracted her to take on “Doctor Slump,” Park Shin Hye shared that “Because it is a story that seems to happen in everyday life. I enjoyed reading the script. Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik worked together 11 years ago when they starred in the hit series “Heirs.”

When asked what changes she had noticed, After reuniting with Park Hyung Sik in “Doctor Slump,” Park Shin Hye revealed, “Back when we were filming Heirs, Hyungsik was very busy. Often, he would leave the set and head straight to the airport. And I was very surprised that he was able to remember all his lines amid such a busy schedule. And most importantly, he never once frowned on the set.”

Meanwhile, Park Hyung Sik shared, “2013 was the busiest year of my life, including the Real Men tour, musical performances, and more. Looking back at that time, I was busy with my performance.
