The National 3×3 Basketball Tournament for High Schools/Vocational High Schools/Equivalent is an integral part of the Open University (UT) DISPORTS AND ART to support the development of sports among the young generation of Indonesia.

The theme carried by the 2024 UT National DISPORSENI is “Harmony in Sportsmanship, Creativity, and Intellectuality”.

“God willing, this event will bring UT closer to the community, high school students and equivalent so that they will know more if they want to go to college in the future, there is a UT campus, a state university with PTN BH status with very affordable fees, by learning to be present for them. This is our way of approaching and socializing the younger generation,” said UT Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ojat Darojat at the opening at the UT campus sports field, Pondok Cabe, South Tangerang, Monday (22/7).

Head of Refereeing Division of PERBASI South Tangerang City, Bayu Jatikusumo, expressed his surprise at the UT campus which has complete sports facilities including basketball sports facilities.

“I was also surprised, it turns out that the fees at UT are very cheap, so for the young generation of high school and vocational school students who are continuing their education from high school to college, there is no need to worry about going to college with UT,” said Bayu.
