Open source modeling software Blender upgrades to version 3.6 and brings simulation nodes

2023-06-30 19:20:52

The open source modeling software Blender evolves and goes to version 3.6. This release is a Long Term Support (LTS) release.

Once once more, the development team offers us a version containing a large number of improvements:
first iteration of simulation nodes to achieve more real effects. Simulations can be cached and viewed in real time; performance for loading huge geometries into Cycles has been improved and helps reduce iteration time in your workflow; added ray tracing support for AMD (Windows only) and Intel graphics cards; improved texture coordinate grouping; added a set of humanoid models to get started quickly;

support for importing and exporting 3ds format;…

But, once more, this summary is far from covering all of the changes. You can therefore consult the details of the official pages.
