The bi-monthly installment of the child allowance, concerning the months of May and June, will be paid on Wednesday 31 July 2024, the last working day of the month, when the rest of the related payments will be made.

A basic condition for the beneficiaries to receive the money from this aid is that the dependent children attend compulsory education (from pre-kindergarten to high school).

It is recalled that following 3:00 p.m. on July 5, 2024, the A21 electronic platform stopped accepting new applications until the settlement and payment of the third bimonthly installment is completed.

Subsequently, the online platform will be reactivated for new applications on Wednesday, July 31 at 8 am.

Beneficiaries of the child allowance are:

Greek citizens

Homogeneous foreigners who have an expatriate card

Citizens of EU member states

Citizens of countries belonging to the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and

Swiss citizens

Recognized refugees residing permanently in Greece, etc.

In order for the child benefit to be granted, the application must be submitted definitively and approved. A cached application is deemed not to have been submitted and will not be considered.
