OÖN Sustainability Prize: These are the 28 Feronia nominees

It was a very difficult pre-selection. Great climate and environmentally conscious companies, schools and clubs with consistently very high quality projects have applied for Feronia from all corners of Upper Austria.

The OÖNachrichten is awarding the prize for the second time this year together with the state of Upper Austria and the Oberbank. The jury, which also included last year’s winners, was spoiled for choice: In the end, the seven most promising applicants from the four categories were nominated.

Award ceremony on March 14th

All applicants and nominees are invited to the award ceremony on March 14th at the Oberbank Donau-Forum in Linz. The winners receive a bronze trophy of the ancient Italian goddess Feronia. It stands for flowers, spring and earth. The statues were made by the sculptor Christine Perseis, who lives in Mondsee.

In addition to prize money, there is also media volume to be won from OÖNachrichten. The program for the gala evening also includes a performance by the “Science Busters”.
