OÖN film night with Hader: A waiting list “beyond good and evil”, “Pulp Fiction 2.0” with Maria

The waiting list for the OÖN film night with Josef Hader was “beyond good and evil,” said Manfred Müller, head of the box office team at the Moviemento cinema in Linz, with a laugh.

Hader, born in Waldhausen im Strudengau, came to the state capital on Saturday evening to present his second feature film as a director: “Andrea is getting a divorce” (currently in cinemas)in which Birgit Minichmayr from Pasching accidentally runs over her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Of course, the courageous checkout team managed to “settle” the guests. In the end, more than 500 visitors saw the production and were able to question the star in film discussions for more than an hour and a half. The audience didn’t miss anything.

Of course, it was also funny: Hader described how he and his Gramastetten colleague Maria Hofstätter went to the disco of his youth to practice for a film scene together – Hader plays a teacher in “Andrea Gets a Divorce”. What was that like? Referring to Uma Thurman and John Travolta’s famous dance scene in Quentin Tarantino’s direction, Hader said dryly: “It was like ‘Pulp Fiction 2.0.'”

A saying that some guests probably still laugh about today.
