Kannur ∙ Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy visited the house of late CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. On Saturday around 12 noon, Oommen Chandy arrived at the house at Kodiyeri Muliilnata along with former minister KC Joseph and KSU state president KM Abhijit.
Oommen Chandy asked Kodiyeri’s wife Vinodini, sons Binoy and Bineesh for information. Speaker AN Shamseer and others were at home when Oommen Chandy arrived. Oommenchandy, who had difficulty walking, was carried into the car by Bineesh’s hand.
Oommen Chandy said that Kodiyeri had a personal relationship with him more than politics. He added that this death was very unexpected. Congress Block President MP Aravindakshan, leaders VA Narayanan, Sajeev Maroli, K. Sivadasan, Santhosh Kannavelli, AR Chinmayi and others were also present with Oommen Chandy.
