Thiruvananthapuram | Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Oommen Chandy may be shifted to Bengaluru for specialist treatment. He is currently staying at Neyyattinkara NIMS Hospital. He will be shifted to Bengaluru today only if his health condition is fit for travel. For this, the medical board will meet at 10.30 am. Meanwhile, Congress leader VM Sudheeran visited him today.
He is being transferred to the Cancer Care Center in Bengaluru for further treatment of the treatment done in Germany. The journey to Bengaluru will be by air ambulance. Congress will bear the cost of this. The Congress leadership arranged an air ambulance following a discussion held by opposition leader VD Satheesan and KPCC president K Sudhakaran. As per Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s instructions, the Health Minister visited Oommen Chandy yesterday morning.
