The gadget Onyx Boox Tab 8 went on sale – a device for reading electronic books, which, however, according to the name, the company itself refers to tablets. The novelty, running on Android 11, is offered at an estimated price of $410.

The equipment includes a 7.8″ touchscreen display on E Ink electronic paper. The panel has a resolution of 1872 × 1404 pixels and a pixel density of 300 PPI (dots per inch). There is a front light with the ability to adjust the color temperature.
You can interact with the screen using a special pen that is sensitive to pressure. It allows you to draw, make handwritten notes, annotate documents, etc. Moreover, the input delay in this case is only 24.17 ms.
