CThe measures consist in strengthening the control of all Ferrero products on importation in order to avoid the introduction of batches of these products on the national market and the immediate withdrawal from the marketing circuit at the level of importers and distribution signs of all batches of the products concerned.
The suspicions relate to Kinder Surprise 20g (by one, by three, by four and by six) and 100g products with expiry dates between the end of June 2022 and the end of October 2022, Kinder Schoko-Bons with expiry dates between the end April and end of August 2022, Kinder Mini Eggs with expiry dates between end of April and end of August and Kinder Happy Moments, Kinder Mix with expiry dates of end of August 2022.
Food poisoning caused by salmonella results in gastrointestinal disorders often accompanied by fever within 48 hours of consuming the contaminated products. These symptoms may be aggravated in young children, immunocompromised subjects, pregnant women and the elderly.
Furthermore, and as a precautionary measure, ONSSA invites consumers not to buy the products whose references are indicated above and asks those in possession of them not to consume them.
