[아이뉴스24 박예진 기자] Neptune’s subsidiary Onmind (CEO Kim Hyung-il) announced on the 24th that it would unveil its second virtual human (virtual human) ‘HaNari’ at the live talk concert of the ‘Seoul Popcorn’ event that kicked off on the 25th.
Hanari Hanari is a female virtual streamer created by Onmind and created with 3D graphics. Her name is a combination of ‘Ari’ meaning beautiful in Korea’s representative folk song ‘Arirang’ and ‘Han’ in ‘Korea’, meaning that virtual and reality will become one. Starting with character planning and worldview setting in February of this year, it took regarding 7 months to produce.
Hanari will appear in a live talk concert that will be held on the main stage of the event from 3 pm on the first day of the Seoul Popcorn event. This is an example of a virtual human made with 3D modeling technology, not digital synthesis, challenging a live talk concert that requires real-time interaction.
It will be broadcast live on the Twitch main page as the whole body is produced by 3D modeling, and will be broadcast live on the Twitch main page, as it will be broadcast in real time through motion capture without a separate video synthesis or editing process.
The company later revealed that Hanari plans to start her career on Twitch as a virtual streamer.
On the other hand, Seoul Popcorn, which opens at COEX on the 25th, is a subculture exhibition dealing with overall pop culture contents such as broadcasting, movies, games, comics, animation, music, art, and metaverse.
