Fiat has revived the Ulysse following a 12-year hiatus. From 1994 to 2010, this was the name of minivans developed jointly with the PSA concern: two generations of cars were replaced, which had twins under the brands Citroen, Peugeot and Lancia. Now Ulysse is back in the ranks. The model was revived within the framework of the Stellantis alliance, and it is an analogue of the Peugeot Traveler, Citroen SpaceTourer, Opel Zafira Life and Toyota ProAce minivans.

However, in Europe, the third generation car debuted only in an electric version and it is called the Fiat E-Ulysse. Back in January, the Stellantis concern announcedthat in the local market, passenger “heels” and twin minivans will remain only in battery modifications. This is to avoid penalties for exceeding average CO emissions.2 by model range. True, there are still exceptions to this rule, but they have not touched the Ulysse model yet.

The new Fiat E-Ulysse differs slightly from relatives under other brands. The front bumper is the same as that of a similar Opel, and only the radiator grille, small decor and nameplates are made original. Modifications are offered with a length of 4.95 or 5.3 m, there are options for seven or eight seats to choose from. The top version of the Lounge flaunts a leather interior, three-zone climate control, a folding table in the rear, a panoramic roof and xenon headlights.

Fiat E-Ulysse has an electric motor with a return of 136 hp. and 260 Nm. A choice of traction batteries with a capacity of 50 or 75 kWh is offered, the passport range is 230 and 330 km, respectively. The maximum speed is 130 km/h. Minivans are stocked with a 100kW DC charger and an 11kW AC charger. Among the options there is a Grip Control system with different modes of traction control electronics.

The Fiat E-Ulysse will be produced at the same Sevel Nord plant in northern France (now called Stellantis Hordain), where minivans of previous generations were made, because the PSA concern did not leave there. In Europe, sales will begin in May. And a little earlier, cargo options called Fiat Scudoand they have diesel modifications.
