Path of Exile set the record for the most concurrent players. After the release of the league “Siege of the Atlas”, online games exceeded 158 thousand people – this is the best figure for the title in ten years. At the same time, the Event was noted by the game developers on Twitter.
According to the website Steam Charts the average online Path of Exile in January was 8.9 thousand people, and the peak figure was recorded at around 19 thousand people. At the time of publication of the material, about 125 thousand people are simultaneously in the game.
The release of patch 3.17 and the Siege of the Atlas league took place on February 4th. Along with the update in Path of Exile appeared a new Seasonal Retribution Challenge, a reworked talent tree and atlas, and new items. In addition, the developers have made changes to the game balance.
