HEAD of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) Benny Rhamdani said T, the alleged controller of online gambling in Cambodia is immune to the law. T is said to be immune to the law because he has not been arrested by the Police.
“If the person, let’s say suspected or what, has not been arrested, that means he is immune from the law,” said Benny at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit Building, South Jakarta, Monday, July 29, 2024.
According to him, T’s arrest is the responsibility of the Police. BP2MI does not have that authority.
“Well, there isn’t any. I said earlier that the online gambling issue is not our authority. We don’t deal with that,” said Benny.
Benny said that his party only handled cases of illegal human trafficking (TPPO) in Cambodia. The Indonesian citizens were placed illegally by working as online gambling and online scamming.
Benny said there was misleading or misleading information in the news. The figure T was called the controller of online gambling in Indonesia which is being handled by the Online Gambling Eradication Task Force. In fact, said Benny, T was called the controller of online gambling in Cambodia.

However, Benny refused to reveal T’s figure and background. He invited the investigators to ask.
