All the facilities that technology offers are not always explored. “Virtual voice assistants” devices, such as Alexa, can help both for leisure, as well as for comfort, safety and practicality. The same occurs with the smartphone cell phone, with the possibility of controlling all electronic devices, in spaces, from a distance. Not to mention the AI – Artificial Intelligence that several products have.
Exploring all the technologies currently available and bringing important solutions to homes and offices is the goal of OnHead – Intelligent Automation, a company headquartered in São José dos Campos (SP), which is now embarking on a new commercial stage: franchising.
“More than a hi-tech space, the goal is to make people’s lives easier”, says Mario Guisard, founding partner of the brand and current director of sales and business development.
In addition to waking up and finding coffee in the coffee maker or finding an air-conditioned environment in the office, OnHead explains that devices can help, for example, seniors to turn on the air conditioning without having to move, light their passage through rooms automatically, improve the home security with smoke or presence sensor and other security items.
All products are connected to the wireless network, such as: lighting control, door opening, irrigation, temperature, brightness and humidity control, alarm, opening and closing of doors and curtains, activation of equipment (air conditioning, humidifier, fan and lighting), surround sound, among other facilities.
“We have extensive experience in the sector. So, we see this as the opportunity that many entrepreneurs were looking for in relation to investment in the field of space automation (residential and commercial), without the need to run cables or change the local infrastructure.”, says Claudio Ribeiro, from Pixel (supplier of devices).
Investments
The company was founded in 2021 and in 2022 it received investments and opened its own unit (store). The expectation is that the company will reach 500 franchisees by 2026.
Expansion is the focus for this year. “For the franchisee, this is a low investment. The franchise has home office and store formats”, says Guisard.
It is worth noting that, according to ABF (Brazilian Franchising Association)in 2022, franchise revenues surpassed pre-pandemic levels, rising from BRL 186 billion in 2019 to BRL 211 billion, according to historical data.
