OnePlus has chosen to reveal the technical sheet of its next smartphone ahead of its official presentation.
The Chinese brand seems to have already revealed everything regarding its next flagship, the OnePlus 10 Pro. On Tuesday, the brand unveiled the full technical sheet of its smartphone, following revealing the design of its smartphone on Monday.
No big changes on the horizon in terms of the Amoled screen, at 120 Hz, or performance (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and LPDDR5 RAM under the hood). This year, the brand seems to have focused above all on three elements: photography, connectivity and design.
On the connectivity side first of all, we will of course mention 5G compatibility, but also Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6 / 6E and 80W fast charging (50W wireless).
As for the photo, the giant relies on the expertise of its Swedish partner, Hasselblad. The device will be equipped with a triple back sensor. The main 48-megapixel sensor will be supported by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. At the front, we will find a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
However, it is in terms of design that we notice the biggest changes, with a more modern style, original colors, and above all a much more conspicuous “camera bump”, which will clearly highlight the “Hasselblad” brand. Difficult to be clearer at this level: OnePlus relies a lot on the photo.
Now it remains to unveil the price and especially the few software features that will allow it to stand out. One thing is certain: the arrival of this top-of-the-range model at the start of the year risks putting pressure on the competition.
