OnePlus launches its OnePlus Nord 2T, like the OnePlus Nord 2, but better.
Le nouveau OnePlus North 2T is the evolution of the OnePlus Nord 2 from last year. It is thought out and designed to occupy the same segment of the market, at around €400, and is essentially intended to be a technological refresh to keep the product in step with the times, so to speak, and allow the brand to remain competitive in this segment.

In terms of performance, it gets better, thanks to the introduction of a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chip, which has a UFS 3.1 flash memory controller. Users can choose between 8 and 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. For the 12 GB / 256 GB version, it takes an additional €100.
The camera system is virtually identical to that on board last year’s model with a 50 MP primary lens (Sony IMX766 sensor) with optical image stabilization and an 8 MP ultrawide secondary lens. There’s also a 2MP monochrome sensor for Bokeh effects.
Le design, meanwhile, is minimalist, with clean lines and matte colorways. The grip should therefore be rather pleasant. The camera model is smartly drawn and the whole thing looks “more powerful” than it is. It is in any case a very good visual communication.
Like the OnePlus Nord 2 but better
The 6.43-inch AMOLED display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and should provide excellent viewing comfort for apps and movies. The phone offers a very interesting price / quality ratio, but the competition is really fierce in this segment.
It will be interesting to see the first scores obtained on the benchmarks when the first units are delivered.
Finally, the 4,500 mAh battery can be recharged at 80 W, which makes this smartphone one of the fastest to recharge in its segment. It is not known, however, if the box contains an 80 W charger. This will be an element to check before going to checkout.
The OnePlus Nord 2T is now available in two versions:
- 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage at 429 €
- 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage: €529
Two colors are also available: a pastel green jade color with a glossy finish and a matt black finish.
