OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus Ace in China

As expected, OnePlus has officially expanded its range of smartphones with the launch of the OnePlus Ace in China.

The OnePlus Ace makes its big debut today ahead of the April 26 sales launch, and it looks like a promising mid-range device. It continues the legacy of OPPO’s Reno Ace lineup, combining premium design and powerful hardware for an affordable price.

Since OnePlus and Realme are both owned by BBK Electronics, the phone shares some similarities with the Realme GT Neo 3both inside and out.

Four cameras

The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera which includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. The device comes with a 16MP front camera for selfie lovers.

OnePlus Ace incorporates technology from Pixelworks

The new OnePlus Ace smartphone features the Pixelworks X5 Pro visual processor. Using a series of advanced visual processing solutions from Pixelworks, we expect to adaptive ambient color and brightness correction. A quality of ultra-fluid movement should also be there.

A screen 6,7″ boosted by Dimensity 8100-MAX

Le smartphone OnePlus Ace dispose d’a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and supports refresh rates up to 120Hz. It is built on MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 8100-MAX 5G flagship mobile platform. According to the latter, this platform dramatically improves gaming performance and power efficiency compared to previous generation Dimensity chips.

A powerful 4,500 mAh battery

The phone comes with a 4500mAh battery with 150W fast charging. OnePlus has implemented several battery protection measures that regulate heat. According to the manufacturer, the phone should retain more than 80% of its charge capacity following 1,600 complete cycles.

On the software side, the phone works on Android 12, but with ColorOS 12.1. The manufacturer has not yet presented a global version. It’s possible that the international variant will feature OxygenOS instead, but nothing has been said regarding that.

OnePlus Ace smartphones should be commercially available on April 26, 2022.
