The OnePlus Nord 2T5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite5G will be presented on May 19. OnePlus formalizes their existence today. They come with the first headphones in the Nord series: the OnePlus Nord Buds.
After its OnePlus 10, it was time for the Chinese manufacturer to present the successors to its more affordable Nord range. The 2022 models will therefore be the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, the latter being a real world novelty.
OnePlus is only revealing their presentation date today. It will be May 19 at 4 p.m.. The event, called The Speed Games, will be broadcast on the OnePlus YouTube channel.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G will feature 80 Watts SuperVOOC charging, the same found on the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. This is the only official info we have. Nevertheless, the characteristics of this smartphone are already more or less known.
OnePlus Nord 2T 5G specs leaked
Aliexpress has indeed spilled the beans. The Nord 2T 5G would thus have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen displaying in Full HD + at 90 Hz. To animate it, we will find in the bowels of the smartphones the brand new Dimensity 1300 chip from MediaTek. It will be supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The battery is 4500 mAh.
The photo part will be served by three sensors at the back:
- a 50 megapixel main sensor (Sony IMX766)
- an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle
- a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor
At the front, it is a 32 megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor that takes place. The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G should probably be offered at €399, the same price as its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 2.
