Recently, OnePlus launched the Ace 2 in China, while in other markets, the device was announced as the OnePlus 11R. The cell phone features the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 flagship platform, but it looks like it should receive a new variant soon.
According to a new article, OnePlus is working on the Dimensity Edition of the Ace 2. So far, the Chinese manufacturer has not confirmed any information, but the leak claims that the announcement will take place soon.

The OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is expected to launch as the brand’s new premium phone in China. Under the hood, it will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chipset and should cost less than the standard variant.
In the display part, the cell phone must undergo changes in relation to its brother with Snapdragon. It has numbering PHP110 and will have the same size as the Ace 2, that is, a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. However, unlike the first, it will have a flat panel, but with the same resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels and support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
For power, the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is expected to bring a 5,000mAh battery unit with 100W fast charging support. In cameras, it should bring a triple module with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64M main sensor, another 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel GalaxyCore GC02M macro.
On paper, the new version of OnePlus Ace 2 with Dimensity chipset appears to have considerably lower specifications than the model with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. However, it is necessary to wait for more details to draw that conclusion.

The OnePlus Ace 2 has already been presented to the global public and the device drew attention for having specifications worthy of a good top of the line. However, the Chinese manufacturer has already started working on a kind of variant of the device.
According to Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro – provisional name – has the number PHP110 and is already being tested with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor.
The chipset must work in conjunction with 16 GB of RAM, native Android 13 and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
The new device is being tested initially in China and there is no forecast for a global launch.

As for the other specifications of the new Ace 2 Pro, DCS claims that it will still have a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED screen with a centralized hole, 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
On the rear set of cameras there is a 64 MP main sensor, a 16 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, the user must have 16 MP inside the hole.
The set is completed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. So far, OnePlus has yet to comment on the leak.
Therefore, we emphasize that everything should be considered as just another market rumor.
