After receiving OxygenOS 13 with Android 13, OnePlus released an update that caused more problems than benefits. According to PhoneArena, the update “killed” the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro models by preventing them from turning on once more. Now the Chinese manufacturer has released a new version with the fix to keep cell phones “alive”.
The information is from AndroidHeadlines, which claims that the problem was limited to OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro units sold in India. The bug seems to have been removed from the update that can now be downloaded normally through the Settings menu on the cell phone.
It is also advised that those who had a bug with the previous version should seek OnePlus assistance, as the manufacturer is repairing the models, following all, the failure was caused by it.
The new version is identified as LE2111_11.F.F20 and is already available for selected users to avoid further problems, as the distribution can be interrupted if something wrong is identified once more.
It is worth remembering that the update is distributed in the form of waves, so it means that it will take a few days for all the models in the line to be updated.
