OnePlus equips its 10T with a classic back photo block, especially since the Hasselblad stamp of the OnePlus 10 Pro is lacking; the brand does not intend to make this model its reference photophone. Unlike the 10 Pro, which benefits from both a very defined ultra-wide-angle (50 megapixels) and a telephoto lens, the smartphone relies on a 50-megapixel main sensor (f/1 wide-angle lens, 8), on another 8 megapixel, with its ultra wide-angle, and on a last 2 Mpx, dedicated to macro. A configuration that is regularly found on smartphones located between the middle and the top of the range, including the Realme GT Neo 3 for that matter.

OnePlus has often distinguished itself by aggressive image processing, for an unnatural result. This is still the case on the 10T, to a lesser extent perhaps, which has the merit of giving its shots very good readability. The textures are visible, much more than on the photos of the Realme GT Neo 3 moreover, but there are weaknesses in the reproduction of colors, for some a little desaturated, and a little blurring at the periphery of the image. Note that, like its competitors, OnePlus uses the pixel-binning and delivers 12.5-megapixel images here.
These observations are also valid for the night. Smoothing is present, but the noise is contained. Overall, this 10T does not fail in the field of wide-angle photography and allows you to take good shots.
50 megapixel mode
It is as often possible to exploit all the photosites of the main sensor of this smartphone. In full definition, daylight is enough to obtain very detailed results, which allow significant cropping. On the other hand, in low light, no significant gain can be observed. Might as well do without.
Ultra wide-angle module: 8 megapixels, f/2.2
If the OnePlus 10T shows less digital noise than the Realme GT Neo 3, it is clear that at ultra wide-angle, the smartphone only has a modest sharpness and smooth textures on the finest details. . Colors are dull and blurry areas appear in the image. Do not expect miracles from this module.
The smoothing is even more pronounced in low light, and the smartphone struggles to restore the contours of the small elements of our scene. The set also suffers from a fairly visible distortion.
Front module, photo and video
Unlike the OnePlus 10 Pro, the 10T is equipped with a 16 megapixel front photo sensor (against 32 Mpx). Nothing too serious however, this one allowing to capture correctly exposed and detailed images. Beware of portrait mode, a little aggressive in terms of clipping, but fortunately adjustable. Finally, the smartphone can shoot up to 4K at 60 fps, with electronic stabilization working up to Full HD.
