The Ministry of Education and Technical Education called on the directors of educational directorates to apply all precautions to prevent and deal with respiratory syncytial virus and infectious diseases within educational classes, in cooperation with the governorate’s health directorate. In this context, the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, confirmed that respiratory syncytial virus What affects children in the current period is not new and does not represent an epidemic like the emerging corona virus, but its problem is its rapid spread, appealing to parents not to send an infected child to school in order to preserve the safety of the rest of the students, because the infected child can infect the entire class.

Prevention of respiratory syncytial virus

In the same context, the Ministry of Health urged parents to visit the doctor in the event of symptoms appearing on the child, and the necessity of presenting the affected child to the doctor, as well as isolating him until he recovers, with a focus on strengthening his immunity with warm drinks.
