The road was closed to traffic, said mayor Xavier Dubois on social networks.
The swerve occurred for an undetermined reason, Saturday around 05:00, on national 4, between the crossroads of Hayettes and Môgreto. Firefighters from the Walloon Brabant rescue zone intervened to extinguish the burning vehicle. One person died at the scene.
Traffic was restored around 9 a.m. Saturday.
