The Liège firefighters were called to intervene, Saturday morning around 5:00 a.m., on the A3/E25/E40 motorway near Alleur, towards Brussels.
For some unknown reason, an accident involving a van and a truck occurred near kilometer marker 87.
One person died at the scene and another was transported by ambulance.
The hard shoulder and the right lane were obstructed.
