A US law enforcement official confirmed the arrest of a Colombian on suspicion of involvement in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise, adding that the man will appear in a preliminary court hearing on Tuesday.
The suspect, Mario Palacios, a former member of the Colombian army, was said by the authorities in Haiti that he was among a group of mercenaries that assassinated Moise last July.
