One of the brothers and sisters missing in heavy rain, younger brother found dead at Paldang Lake

Among the siblings who went missing in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do due to heavy rain at dawn on the 9th, a younger brother was found dead near Lake Paldang.

According to the police and fire department, a body believed to be a man in his 60s was found at around 11:30 am on the 13th by the Marine Corps Comrades Association, who was helping the search for the missing person near Gwangdong Bridge at Paldang Lake in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.

As a result of fingerprint identification, this man was identified as A (64), who disappeared on the 9th with his older sister following being swept away by a torrent.

Earlier, at around 0:40 on the 9th, Mr. A and Mr. B (77, female) disappeared in Mokhyeon-dong, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is reported that they disappeared following going out of the house to prevent flood damage when water entered the house due to torrential rain.

The fire department and related agencies are continuing the search for B.
