One of the Aston Martin Vanquish used in the promotion of ‘007: Die Another Day’ has gone on sale. It is a unit with the same configuration as the car in the film, but without gadgets. However, it was used in a photo shoot with Pierce Brosnan.
Can you imagine having James Bond’s car in your garage? No, we’re not talking about buying an Aston Martin model like 007’s, but rather a model that has really been part of the history of the most famous spy on the planet. Believe it or not, now is your chance: One of the Aston Martin Vanquish from ‘007: Die Another Day’ is for sale.
Released in 2002, This is Pierce Brosnan’s last film as James Bond. And, although it is a film criticized for issues such as improvable CGI, it is still an unforgettable film in which Spain even took part, with Cadiz playing the role of the city of Havana. In any case, as in many other 007 films, the cars were one of the best parts of the story.
While The villain used a modified Jaguar XKRthe MI6 secret agent used none other than an Aston Martin Vanquish. In fact, this was the only time Brosnan drove a car from the British firm in the role of Bond, since until then he had to drive various BMW models (a Z3, a 7 Series and a Z8).
The thing is, geeky stuff aside, you can now buy one of the cars that were used in the production of the film. Specifically, You can get your hands on one of the seven Vanquish used in the promotion of ‘007: Die Another Day’It was not used in the actual filming, but it was used at the company’s presentation and in a photo shoot with the Irish actor.
The model itself It is a copy from 2001 that will be auctioned on October 9 by H&H. It has the same configuration as the car in the film, with Tungsten Silver exterior paint and Charcoal leather interior with an aluminum center console. It does not, however, have an ejection seat, missiles, machine guns or a camouflage that allows it to become invisible.
Be that as it may, It is still a Grand Tourer with a spectacular V12 engine.with 466 hp and a 0-100 km/h time of just over 5 seconds. This is true of any other Vanquish, but this one has a more interesting story behind it. It was part of a group of seven cars that the brand established for promotional purposes, among which several photo sessions were held.

It was later given a new license plate and passed to a new owner, a collector of the brand who took it to several events. Apart from the centre cap on one of the wheels, Gaydon’s sports car is in immaculate condition and still has the original number plates used in the photo shoot (with the inscription ‘JB 007’ included).
