One of Swedbank’s most popular customer branches will not remain in Vilnius: this is not the only change Business

How 15min Gytis Vercinskas, the public relations representative of Swedbank in Lithuania, stated that in order to provide the greatest possible convenience to its customers, after evaluating various circumstances, it was decided to close the branch of the bank located in the Vilnius “Akropolis” shopping center and move to new, modernly equipped premises in the “Ozo” shopping center.

The last working day of the unit in Akropolis is October 27, at which time the Ozo shopping center is scheduled to open in January next year.

“While these premises are being prepared, we will invite customers to other branches of the bank working in Vilnius”, commented G. Vercinskas.

These are not the only changes at Swedbank.

According to him, renovation works of the branch will start in Palanga from mid-October, so customers will not be served there for several months.

“Later, we will welcome customers in modernly equipped premises,” he noted.

According to G. Vercinskas, in Raseiniai, the installation of premises is being completed and in October. in the middle, customers will be invited to the newly equipped modern premises. In Pasvaly, it is planned to move to the newly renovated premises in the middle of this December.

This year, as a result of mergers of departmental competences, Swedbank discontinued the operations of branches in Varėna, Radviliški, Kupiški and Šakiai.

“If, for one reason or another, we make decisions about changes in the branch network, we always aim to inform our customers as early as possible,” said G. Vercinskas.

Currently, the bank’s branch network consists of 39 branches.
