One last unofficial look at the Galaxy S23 series ahead of the event

We already have a pretty complete idea of how the Galaxy S23 series will look from the plethora of leaked press shots, but new images show what Samsung’s full Galaxy S23 lineup will look like in the real world, one day before its official reveal.

Pictures of the three awaited models of the lineup, the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra, were posted on Twitter by leaker Ice Universe. Twitter user Dylan Xitton also posted a short clip holding the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which we spotted via SamMobile. The tweet has since been removed in response to a copyright claim, but they all agree on the same design and look.

Thanks to several leaks over the past few months, we’ve already seen several press renders of the lineup, and a couple of photos and videos have also been shared before. But these new picks give a fairly complete look at the entire lineup. We can see the squared edges of the Galaxy S23 Ultra with its four cameras on the back, while the S23 and S23 Plus are almost closer in design with one less camera each.

According to a follow-up tweet in the thread, the source of the Xitton images is the Chilean mobile network that inadvertently started showing the phones publicly before they were officially released. Sure enough, the photos show the S23 Ultra in what appears to be a retail display unit, tethered to a safety lanyard attached to the back of the phone.

The big new feature we’ve come to expect from the Galaxy S23 Ultra is its 200MP high-resolution main camera, which is twice the resolution of the 108MP sensor we saw on the S22 Ultra last year.
