The Assembly of the World Organization for Animal Health (OMSA) is being held in Paris from May 21 to 25, 2023. The globalization of trade has led to a resurgence and emergence of infectious diseases and to respond to these issues, the concept “One health, one health” was developed in the early 2000s. It sheds light on the existing interdependencies between the health of humans, that of animals and that of the environment. The idea is to approach health in a more global and global context in order to respond to health issues as well as environmental issues. How are the health of humans, animals and the environment intertwined? How to think regarding health in a more global way? How will this be able to prevent emerging diseases and disease outbreaks?
