LUCKY Lucien
Over there, just on the other side of the lake, it is called fruit bat in this Savoie which is close to us. But we know it better here under the name of altesse, and some French-speaking winegrowers have chosen this grape variety for its fine taste qualities. But let’s stay measured, since it still only represents six hectares in Switzerland, one thousandth of the Vaud or Geneva vineyard. Five producers in the canton of Vaud, three in Geneva, as many in Valais, we are not yet in a mass phenomenon.
