A 28-year-old woman was injured in the Stolac area when a rock fell on her house and later died in hospital, according to media reports, quoting a medical source.

Several others were slightly injured, including members of the victim’s family.

Material damage was recorded, in particular cracks and collapses in the walls, according to the authorities and the Civil Defense in Stolac, Ljubniy and Mostar regions.

The earthquake was felt all over the Balkans, an area of ​​high seismic activity.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 14 km northeast of Lyubni (4,000 people), according to the American Institute of Geophysics.
