One by one, who are the legislators who voted for the nationalization of YPF in 2012?

The trial developed in New York on the nationalization of YPF reached a negative resolution for the State, which must now pay compensation of between US$3.5 billion and US$17 billion. With the adverse result, the treatment that Congress gave to the initiative in 2012 was called into question.

Following the impulse of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, the initiative had 208 affirmative votes in Deputies and 63 affirmative in the Senate. The project was approved following a marathon session in the lower house, on May 3 of that year it was approved in both chambers.

Although the initiative was approved mainly by pro-government legislators, there were also opposition leaders who accompanied the document that the then front for victory had sent to Congress.

Among the pro-government supporters who raised their hands on that occasion are Diana Conti, Carlos Heller, Andrés Larroque, Facundo Moyano, Mayra Mendoza, Agustín Rossi, Felipe Solá, Victoria Donda, fernando solanas, Hector Recalde, Rosana BertoneAnd till Omar Perotti.

Among the legislators who voted in the affirmative, there were many voices that today criticize Kirchnerism. Among them, Ricardo Gil Lavedra, Mario Negri, Gerardo Milman, Miguel Bazze, Ricardo Buryaile o Julio Martinezamong others.

Meanwhile, among those who voted negatively, on the other hand, were Elisa Carrió, Patricia Bullrich, Graciela Camaño, Graciela Ocaña, Jorge Triaca, Eduardo Amadeo, Alberto Asseff, Gustavo Ferrari and Laura Alonso, among others. The most notable absentees in that vote: Margarita Stolbizer, Gabriela Michetti, Oscar Aguad and Silvia Majdalani.

Meanwhile, the initiative had, a month before in the Senate, 63 affirmative votes and 3 negative. There, the initiative was approved in a session that was chaired by the then vice president Beloved Bodou.

The nationalization project was celebrated and supported by the pro-government leaders as Daniel Filmus, Hannibal Frenandez.

Meanwhile, there were also several leaders, today recognized critics of the opposition, who supported the initiative. Among others, one can mention Louis Judge, Gerardo Morales, Luis Naidenoff, Ernest Sanz, y Miguel Angel Pichettothen at the head of the leadership of the official bench.

Among the legislators who opposed the project at that time were Adolfo Rodríguez Saá, Juan Carlos Romero and Liliana Negre de Alonso.
