“Onde d’Italia” sends Antonio Castrignanò am 14.4. im ORF RadioKulturhaus

Vienna (OTS) The musician and composer Antonio Castrignanò is a guest in the “Onde d’Italia” series: On Friday, April 14 (7.30 p.m.) he will present his current album “Babilonia” in the large broadcasting hall of the ORF RadioKulturhaus.

The Italian singer, tambourine player and songwriter from Salento, the southern part of the Apulia region, will be making a guest appearance on Friday April 14 (7:30 p.m.) in the large broadcasting hall of the ORF RadioKulturhaus. His current album “Babilonia” is a homage to the music from his homeland and made it to number 2 in the European “World Music Annual Charts” of 2022. Castrignanò’s music is deeply rooted in the Italian folk dance pizzica and at the same time knows the language of rock, the rhythms of North Africa and the sounds of the kora, the West African bridge harp. At the concert as part of the “Onde d’Italia” series, Castrignanò will be accompanied by Maurizo Pellizzari (guitar) and Rocco Nigro (accordion). Admission to the concert is EUR 26; with the ORF RadioKulturhaus card, it is possible to purchase a 50% discounted ticket; Ö1 Club members receive a 10% discount.
