In a video posted Thursday evening on Twitter, rapper Kanye West recounts having been welcomed earlier this week at Mar-a-Lago by Donald Trump in the company of Nick Fuentes, a young white nationalist known for having made admiring remarks regarding Adolf Hitler, Holocaust deniers and haters of women and members of the LBGTQ community.

‘Trump is very impressed with Nick Fuentes,’ the one who prefers to be called Ye tells white nationalist right-wing figure Milo Yiannopoulos following claiming he ‘disturbed’ Trump by asking him to serve as his running mate -presidency in view of the presidential election of 2024. Ye, for those who do not know it yet, declared his intention to seek the White House once more in 2024.
West, whose recent anti-Semitic slurs included losing a lucrative partnership with Adidas (and being temporarily suspended from Twitter), says Trump declined his offer. He adds that the two men argued following the rapper criticized the former president for not having released those detained following the violence of January 6, 2021 at the Capitol. He accuses Trump of using vulgar words when talking regarding his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
West also says he advised Trump to bring in Roger Stone and Alex Jones, among other miscreants, for his 2024 presidential campaign.
Beyond West’s words, the question is: why is the Republican Party’s standard-bearer in 2016, 2020 and possibly 2024 opening his door to two notorious anti-Semites, one of whom denies the existence of the Holocaust and would like to deny women the right to vote?
