Tim Cook’s European tour continues. After Great Britain ⚽️ et germany ????, the boss of Apple stopped in Italy ???? to collect a diploma Honorary in Innovation and International Management, awarded by Federico-II University of Naples.
In 2016, Apple set up with Federico-II University a developer academy in the good city of Naples, an initiative renewed until 2025. Tim Cook did not fail to to visit to the students and to lend themselves to the game of questions and answers. There was talk of augmented reality, and as usual the CEO tried to stir up the sauce without saying too much.
“We have a great discussion today, but if we might ‘augment’ it by adding things from the virtual world to it, that would be even better. In a very short time, when we look back (…) we will wonder how we might live without augmented reality. In the same way as today, one wonders how people like me might live without the internet”.
Words that suggest that the launch of Apple’s first augmented reality device is not so far away. This is more or less what Tim Cook had declared last June on Chinese TV.
Come on, next step of this European journey: France ????? We believe in.
