ON VIDEO | “Oh, my God, you fired me!”

“Oh, my God, you shot me!”, laments in pain Alonzo Bagley, an African-American who has just been shot by a police officer in Louisiana.

The recording of the body camera of the police officers has just been made public. The 43-year-old succumbed to his injuries.

Alonzo Bagley was shot dead on February 3 late in the evening when police responded to a call for a family dispute in an apartment complex.

According to what the police in Shreveport said, Alonzo Bagley fled by jumping from a 2nd floor balcony when the police intervened in the apartment.

In the video, the police are seen and heard running following the man and a gunshot is heard. Touched, Alonzo Bagley collapses on the ground suffering. “Oh my God, you fired me! Oh,” he says.

One of the officers, Alexander Tyler, a white policeman, panicked said, “Come on dude, stay with me,” while another policeman tried to compress his wound.

Officer Alexander Tyler, 23, was arrested yesterday and charged with negligent homicide.

Investigators on file say Alonzo Bagley was unarmed.
