A police car, containing a person, was hit by a train in the state of Colorado, videos released by the Fort Lupton department show on Friday.
On September 16, Yareni Rios-Gonzalez, who is suspected of being involved in a case of road rage, was handcuffed and sitting inside the police car when a train hit her.
The patrol vehicle was parked on train tracks, a few meters behind the truck of Ms. Rios-Gonzalez, who was being searched by two officers.
The policeman who parked the car has been placed on leave.
The woman was hospitalized with multiple injuries, but is not in critical condition. She has nine ribs and a broken arm, according to Paul Wilkinson, her lawyer.
