The Piraeus Olympic Fans Association is founded by members of the Piraeus Football Club and the Piraeus Fans Club.
1944
The creation of the Political Committee of National Liberation (PEEA), also known as the “government of the mountains”, during the Occupation, is announced. Its temporary president is colonel Evripidis Bakirtzis, formerly a representative of the resistance organization EKKA, and its members are Emmanuel Mantakas (ELAS), Giorgis Siandos (KKE), Ilias Tsirimokos (ELD), Costas Gavrielidis (Agrarian Party) and the professor of constitutional law Alexandros Svolos, who a few days later will take over as president of PEEA.
2015
The unanimous support of the Hellenic Parliament is gathered by the proposal of the president of the House, Zois Konstantopoulou, for the reconstitution and upgrading of the Inter-Party Committee for the claim of German reparations, the repayment of the occupying loan and the return of the stolen archaeological treasures.
