Last week, police appealed for witnesses to find the occupant(s) of a white car parked near the home where the murders took place. On Tuesday, the authorities once more mentioned this vehicle which might be important in the investigation. On November 13, four University of Idaho students were found dead in a house off campus. Two roommates who were sleeping at the time of the incident and found the bodies the next morning notified the emergency services following the tragedy. Since then, the investigation has stalled, for lack of witnesses and evidence. So far, the police are only sure of one thing: Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21 were all stabbed.
The murder weapon has not been found and no suspect has been named. The track of this white car is therefore carefully followed. Officers said they recovered hours of footage taken from a Moscow gas station on Tuesday that allegedly captured a white sedan speeding through the night of the crimes. It was a gas station employee who was analyzing the tapes during one of her breaks who saw this car driving around 3:45 a.m. on November 13, says Fox News. She then gave this information to the police along with the screenshot from the video. “I had this weird feeling that I had to watch the videos,” she commented.
