The funds go to the “Weisser Ring” victim support facility.
Vienna (OTS) – When the terrorist attack in Vienna in November 2020 left many people, some of them severely traumatized, it was the “White Ring” that provided the victims and their relatives with (therapeutic) help quickly and unbureaucratically. On the occasion of the European Day of Crime Victims on February 22nd, Taxi 40100 has decided to make a donation of 1,500 euros to the victim protection organization.
“Our motto is: If you reach the end, our help is at the other end,” says Tobias Körtner, head of the victim support department at “Weisser Ring”. “The emotional wounds are often deeper than the physical ones. The victim support facility is doing great work. The taxi agency Taxi 40100 is very happy to support the commitment of the victim support facility,” adds Eveline Hruza, general secretary of Taxi 40100. “I am very grateful to have a long-standing and reliable partner in Taxi 40100,” said Udo Jesionek, honorary president of the ” “White Ring”. After all: Taxi 40100 has been donating to the victim support facility since 2002.
The “Weisse Ring” is Austria’s only legally recognized general victim support facility that is open to all victims of crime. Many crime victims, including Natascha Kampusch, received support from the association. The association, which was founded in 1978, is non-profit and not profit-oriented.
