Yesterday, the Hangeul Day holiday, it rained all day across the country.

The rain, which subsided during the early morning, will resume around the morning and will continue until late tonight, depending on the location.

Until today, up to 40 millimeters of rain will fall in the metropolitan area and the west coast of South Chungcheong Province.

Temperatures will drop sharply as cold air enters the Korean Peninsula overnight.

The lowest temperature in the morning in Seoul recorded single digits at 8 degrees, while the nationwide distribution will range from 6 to 14 degrees, and during the day it will be between 10 and 19 degrees and below 20 degrees, so it will be chilly all day.

The first snow may fall in the eastern part of Gyeonggi-do and the mountainous regions of Gangwon-do.

In the midst of this, the sensible temperature will be even lower as strong winds blow.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said that very strong winds with an instantaneous wind speed of 20 meters per second are expected to blow in the central region and Yeongnam region, and urged special attention to facility management and safety accidents.

The waves of the sea will also rise very high, with a maximum of 5 meters in the West and East Seas and a maximum of 4 meters in the South Sea.

As rain and wind blow, the state of fine dust will show a ‘good’ level across the country.
