On the Kingdom’s humanitarian initiative, 163 Houthi prisoners who participated in the hostilities against the Kingdom’s territory will be released

The official spokesman for the coalition forces “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the leadership of the joint forces of the coalition will release (163) one hundred and sixty-three Houthi prisoners who participated in the hostilities once morest the kingdom’s lands, as a humanitarian initiative in continuation of previous humanitarian initiatives. And in support of all efforts and endeavors to end the Yemeni crisis and bring peace, and the efforts of the United Nations to consolidate the current truce and create an atmosphere for dialogue between the Yemeni parties, as well as to facilitate the termination of the file of prisoners, detainees and martyrs in line with Islamic values, humanitarian principles and authentic Arab traditions and the provisions of international humanitarian law represented in the texts and provisions of the Convention Third Geneva, whose implementation has been suspended since the year 2018 CE (Stockholm Agreement).
