On the first day of work, cars lined up at registration centers in Hanoi

Mr. Nguyen Khanh Hung, Deputy Director in charge of Center 2925D, said that there has never been a year when customers went to register on the first day of the new year as crowded as today.

“There are a lot of vehicles coming in. By 10am, the center had inspected regarding 30 vehicles. There are regarding 30 cars waiting outside the yard. Compared to this day last year, the number of vehicles coming for registration has doubled,” said Mr. Hung.

According to Mr. Hung, before Tet, the number of cars gathered at registration centers was high, and customer psychology was affected. Accordingly, many vehicle owners who still have a registration period of up to 2 months still take their cars for registration. They said, go to register early so that any item of the car that needs to be repaired can be adjusted, so that the car can be circulated continuously.

“This shows that customers have been very active in bringing their cars to the registration. In previous years, vehicle owners often only went for inspection 1-2 weeks ahead of time”, Mr. Hung said.

In order to save people waiting time when going to register, before Tet, the Registry Department has put into trial operation the online registration app. Vehicle owners can set a schedule, choose a registration center. Vehicles booked through this form will know the vehicle’s inspection time without having to wait.

However, the actual number of passengers registered via the app is not much.

“Customers should use the app to take the initiative in their time. Because on the app, the number of customers coming for inspection is controlled to meet the needs of both groups of customers waiting at the center and customers ordering through the app,” Hung emphasized.

Mr. Hung forecasted that in the next few days, the number of registered vehicles may continue to increase. In order to reduce waiting time and facilitate the registration process without having to travel a lot, Mr. Hung recommends car owners to take care and maintain before going to check.

Regarding this issue, the Vietnam Register also continues to encourage people on the way from the countryside to the city to work following the Tet holiday can bring their cars to the local registration centers. This helps car owners not have to wait long and reduces the load on centers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. HCM.
