Today marks the death anniversary of the great artist Ahmed RatibWhere he passed away from our world on this day, December 14, 2016, at the age of 67, following suffering a severe heart attack, and his daughter, Lamis, revealed during one of the interviews regarding the last moments of his life, before entering the hospital and his death, and she said: “He had cirrhosis.” In the lung because he drank a lot of cigarettes, and before he was transferred to the hospital on the day of his death, and we are waiting for the ambulance to take him, the cold affected the other part of the lung.”

And she continued: “He directed his grandson (Hamza) and told him that he needed an apple, so he cut it off, and this was the last thing she did before he went to the hospital, and at that time Hamza Fadl cried a lot for no reason.”

Ahmed Ratib was born on January 23 of the year 1949, and his debut was in 1980, with the movie “Shaaban Sub-Zero” and then the leader’s movie “Voice Dr. Salman Abdel Basset”, then the movie “At the Minister’s Gate” to successive films in the eighties..

Ahmed Ratib’s most prominent work is “The Beggar, One by One, So that the Smoke Doesn’t Fly.” The nineties came. “The Forgotten” by Sherif Arafa, where Ahmed Ratib presented regarding 300 works of art for cinema, television, theater and radio.

The artist Ahmed Ratib also appeared in the movie “High Pressure”, starring the artist Nidal Al Shafei, as the film was shown almost three years following his death..

Ahmed Ratib died on December 14, 2016, at the age of 67, following suffering a sudden heart attack, following which he was transferred to a hospital, where he died. His funeral was held from Al-Husri Mosque in 6th of October City, following the Asr prayer.
